FAQ
How soon can I expect the delivery?
You will receive the package within 3 to 5 business days after placing the order.
How do I register my product and activate my warranty?
Your warranty is activated the moment you make a purchase.
Can I run my TV, refrigerator, or water pump on solar?
Any of your appliances can adequately run on solar power. However, you may need other components to transfer the power generated from a solar panel successfully. Most common home appliances run on AC power, such as a TV. As such, you will need an inverter to properly convert the power from DC to AC. Off-grid refrigerators, like those used in RVs, can run on either DC or AC. Depending on the specific type, you may need an inverter. Water pumps can also run on solar power, but be sure to read the manual to check if an inverter is needed.
Do I need to install an inverter if I only want to charge my boat or RV battery with a solar panel?
You don’t need an inverter if you’re only charging your battery. However, if you want to use the battery to run different appliances, like a TV or a refrigerator, you need an inverter to convert the DC power to AC power.
Will solar panels work in the winter in my state or province?
Wherever there is sunlight, solar panels will generate electricity. Cooler conditions, like those during the winter, can help improve solar panel performance. Solar panels can still generate electricity in cloudy conditions, just not as efficiently. The panel won't generate any electricity if there is any snow buildup on it, so make sure to keep the panel clear. This goes for any type of obstruction, including shade or dirt.
Does my solar panel system require roof penetration?
Solar panels don’t always need a roof penetration for installation. Most times, they can be permanently mounted on the roof using a sealant. Alternatively, they can be installed on the ground.
Can the solar panel drain my battery at night?
If you have a solar charge controller installed in your system, there is no danger of a reverse current draining your battery.
Can the solar module overcharge my battery?
Yes, but only if it’s used without a charge controller, which is why it’s important to always use one when you have a battery.
Can I run my 110V appliances with my solar power system?
Yes, you can run your 110V appliances with your solar power system using an inverter. The inverter connects your solar panel to your battery, converting the DC energy into AC energy, allowing you to power your appliances.
Do I have to disconnect the panels from the battery when I drive my RV or while I am recharging my battery by other means?
The solar panels are designed to permanently connect to your battery, so you don’t need to ever disconnect them when driving your RV or charging your battery from other sources.
How much maintenance is required?
We recommend cleaning your panels weekly or bi-weekly to maintain high performance and optimal energy generation.

Flexible, easy to install, light weight

These CIGS panels seem like they'll be great. Haven't used them yet but have been playing around with mounting. Quality of the panel looks very good, unlike the cheaper non-CIGS types of flexible panels, this one looks like it will last and not delaminate. I love that it flexes in multiple axes/directions, so like on my cargo box which is curves front-to-back and left-to-right it easily lays flat against all the contours as if it was custom made for my cargo box. Overall very please, easy to work with, lightweight, all that's left is to see them in action and hopefully they also produce decent power.

Just right for my teardrop, great for catching sun

Just what I needed for my teardrop camper
I ordered two panels which arrived quickly. The installation was easy, just peel off the back and lay them on the roof -- but be sure you know where you want them as they are REALLY sticky. They generate good wattage even in light shade or with clouds. I'm no expert, but for me they work really well.

Good performance in my RV

I bought one last September to replace a cheap silicon unit that failed and it's literally bullet proof. I added the second one in series and now supply power via ~40VDC. I'm running the freezer overnight to see how quickly it will recover tomorrow while keeping the freezer running. It supplied about 100 W with me turning on freezer fans and lights. I hope to see above 130W tomorrow as it recharges while the freezer remains on tomorrow.

Perfect for my van, sturdy and lightweight

Using two of these on my van b
uild. Pricey, but worth it for robustness, performance, weight savings, and aerodynamics. I highly recommend these. Saves a lot of money versus installing a roof rack. Since they are long and narrow, they fit nicely right and left of the ceiling vent/fan.

Great for catching sun, flexible panel setup!

I like the flex panel, It will be used to hang on the side of my trailer to catch max morning sun then hang on the other side to catch max afternoon sun until sun set I have 300 watt on top and 200 watts on a latter rack on my truck, the latter rack can be angled to get max morning and afternoon sun . the moveable ones are for good power on ling camps Dennis Fifield
